Do I need Warzone and Fortnite Xbox Live Gold?

I want to buy the new Xbox and wonder if I have to pay extra money to gamble

As far as I have noticed, Xbox Live Gold will soon be needed to play Fortnite, but I'm a bit unsure about that.

Right now you must have Xbox Live Gold to play Warzone and Fortnite online, yes. However, this should no longer be the case in the future. Every Free To Play game should then also be playable without Xbox Live Gold.

However, if you are a bit concerned with the subscription models of the Xbox, you should have noticed that you no longer need Xbox Live Gold if you have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. You save tons of money, have Xbox Live Gold included and get over 300 games.

This is currently not known.

However, that shouldn't take long.

Microsoft is currently only working on the takeover of Bethesda. The first steps would have been taken for now.

But as you know the Microsoft marketing team, they throw these announcements out everywhere without warning. Doesn't mean nobody knows when that will happen, except of course those behind it
