Problems with Xbox One Controller with Batteries?

I have already posted my problem in the official Xbox forum, but unfortunately still receive no response. Certainly there are more than enough people here who could possibly help me!

To make it reasonably short: Xbox Elite Controller ordered from Amazon. My fully charged batteries in (no cheap batteries) controller ran about 6 to 8 h. I was very short and discharged the batteries with my charger and reloaded and found that they were still 3/4 full. I know that rechargeable batteries can't sustain the voltage for so long and therefore are recognized as "empty" earlier than normal batteries, but 3/4 is a bit bad. The problem is that I have inserted the original batteries and it did not work at all. Only the flashing of the Xbox button indicates the low battery level. Then I got a replacement device from Amazon and additionally the official Play and Charge Kit. I thought that the Li-ion battery can last longer than normal LSD-NimH batteries. Well puff cake. Again exactly the same: With the new controller and the freshly charged batteries about 6 to 8 hours played and the end. Ok then the first time the Play and Charge battery was inserted, continued playing on the cable and meanwhile loaded until it was full (white light on the cable) deducted and gone was the controller. Again, the Xbox button flashes. For testing purposes, the Play and Charge rechargeable battery was inserted into the "old" Elite Controller (it had not yet been made ready for despatch) and nothing moves there either. Have synonymous another pair of batteries (freshly charged but this time more cheap category battery) and there's also zero in both controllers.

Now I would be really interested: Why is that? Two controllers, exactly the same problem. Is it my fault? I mean, if not even the original accessory works (and with two (!) Controllers) Not the official Play and Charge Kit and not even the dog-sized supplied Duracell batteries, what's going wrong? My question would be if someone has already experienced this? First of all, what should I do now? Request controller number 3 and also return the first Play and Charge Kit? Have I just had bad luck with faulty products or is there more behind it? Would be glad about advice or experience reports!

I've always been using the Play and Charge Kit, as well as the new batteries for the newer controllers. With both I can play for days, so your problem is completely unknown to me.

Sorry that this does not help you but I wanted to at least say that this is not a general and thus known problem.

Because really helps only a renewed exchange.
