Is still worth a New Nintendo 2DS / 3DS (XL) today?

I have now almost a year, a switch with 35 games now. In addition, until recently I had a 3DS, which is now broken.

However, since I've accumulated over 100 games since I got my first DS Lite back then, and I have a lot of memories of those games, I'd love to keep playing them.

So I'm wondering if it's worth a 3DS model today, next to the switch, and especially what model.

What do you say and which model would you choose?

I do not quite understand why you choose the "New" series for DS games. Just buy it for just 80 euro NEN 2DS or even much cheaper a used device.

Basically, I would not skip the 3DS series completely, because there are many cool games and these are now available at reasonable prices.

Ti

Huh?! It's about DS and 3DS games and I've written down the New Series because it's the latest one… Especially since I asked what model you would take

Ti

The only thing about the DS Lite was that I've been accumulating a lot of games since that console, because that's what I've had since elementary school. But then I had as described also a 3DS and of course games for it

em

Okay, but you can play 3DS games on my recommendation. Are you betting on the few exclusive New-3ds titles or the SNES emulator?

So I would opt for the cheap version, which is also better in the hand. Then you still have money for 2 games over.

Ti

Well, but the 2DS has no 3D and many say that he should be very bad and quickly breaks

Yes, that's just the decision you have to make. I've never used 3D, but if it's an important feature for you, then of course you have to resort to another model.

I do not think faster. You have just the "problem" that the screen can scratch, because you can't fold it. I just have a case.

So I have nen 2ds and my girlfriend a new 3ds-xl and me at least my own is better in the hand. Of course, the New-3DS-XL looks more valuable.

Gu

Of course, it does not really worth it, because the 3DS for Nintendo is a discontinued model.

Maybe that's the reason why you can find somewhere cheap 3DS or something and there's just the question of what you like better and how much you can pay to play your old games again.

I would say that the prices are not even cheaper and I think about 120 euro for a new3ds is acceptable
