Can I change the region on my Nintendo Switch?

I pre-ordered "Animal Crossing New Horizons" in the e-shop and it will be playable from Friday 00:00. I'm on an Animal Crossing Fan Discord Server and we discussed that if we switch the region to New Zealand in theory we can already play at 12:00. Then we asked ourselves if we couldn't be banned for it? So whether it violates the terms of use. Now my question is: Can we change the region to be able to play earlier?

I do not know that there will be a spell for it.

However, you should leave that: Anticipation is the best joy!

Wait the last 13 hours.

There shouldn't be a lock because there's no region lock. The whole thing will bring you nothing because you pre-ordered it in the German shop.

Credit may not be available when changing.

I dare to say that it won't work.

The reason should be that the switch checks online whether this is already activated. And it acts as if the switch would check it via the eshop affiliation.

Speak. If you buy the game in the EU eshop you will be able to play it if the EU eshop releases it as playable.

You would have to buy the game in the US eshop if it was there, for example. Will be unlocked earlier.

You can try it though. That you represent the region should have no effect. You could have traveled to New Zealand with your switch. The console itself has no refionlocking. You can easily play games from the US shop or the Japanese shop on it.

You can try it, but it probably doesn't work. By the way, please tell your FC on the switch ^^
