Help I have the following problem, I want to play online on my Nintendo Switch, but no matter what game, I'm constantly asked if I want to allow my child to play online… To be able to access the game… Etc… But that goes with me on my nerves since I don't have a child myself, and I guess there's a connection… Because I "can't" play online [at least with need for Speed hot pursuit remastered], and I think it has a connection, … Could you please help me, I'm completely haphazard right now, can you somehow turn off that with the child?

Re

So I used to have a Wiiu because I had the same problem, I messed around a bit and I think you can't change the age.

But I'm not sure whether this also applies to the switch

I had the same problem with the Nintendo Network once (Wii u & 3ds).

I then contacted Nintendo Support. They could change that. Maybe you'll try that too.

At first it sounds like the age restriction is activated. This can be seen from the orange bar above next to the profiles on the home screen. However, they only exist if you set them yourself, optionally. And you obviously didn't do that, otherwise you'd know a PIN for it and something…

So it must actually be the age of the Nintendo Account, as far as I understand correctly. What age did you enter there? Is it your account or did someone else create it as your "parent account" and name you as a child?

I hope I can help you when I know a little more.

Well, it's a family account… I've already been to the website and it says family account as information

It's a shame, I've never had one like this. Is there the orange bar on your home screen?
