How or where can you officially play Mario Paint today? The SNES / Super Famicom excluded.
I was looking for a drawing game in combination with Nintendo and came across Mario Paint, but how can you officially play it on a modern platform these days? Is there a good way? Would be grateful for an answer.

To play Mario Paint, it's best to use your PC. Here is a little tutorial.
Download the Mario Paint Rom from https://romsmania.cc/roms/super-nintendo/mario-paint-253456 first.
Go to http://www.snes9x.com/downloads.php and click on one of the links.
Download from the website snes9x.
Start snes9x.
Click on "File" or "File" above and on "Load File…" or "Choose File…".
Then the Explorer appears and you have to select the Mario Paint Rome.
Then the game will start, but you're not done yet!
Click on "Input" or "Control" and select "Use SNES Mouse" or "Use SNES Mouse".
Now you can play Mario Paint on your PC and you can use your PC mouse.

If you prefer to play on the go, on your smartphone, then you have to do the following.
Download the Mario Paint Rom from https://romsmania.cc/roms/super-nintendo/mario-paint-253456 first.
Go to Google Play and download "Snes9x EX +".
Open the app.
Tap on "Load Game" and select the Mario Paint Rom.
Go back to the menu and tap on "Key / Gamepad Input Setup".
Then tap on "Emulated System Options" and on "Input Ports".
Then choose "Mouse".
Now you can play Mario Paint on your smartphone using the touch screen.
