Is it worth a Nintendo membership? I currently don't have any games out of 2 free Nintendo games. Is membership worth it? You can then download games for free. Do they stay until you are no longer a member and how long do the free games stay after you install them? And how do you pay for everything? You pay with credit in your account what you top up with vouchers from e.g. The supermarket? Is it also possible to pay for membership in this way and can you top up the credit differently? And how do you top up the credit if you have a voucher? Thank you.

Gladly also tips and other things about Nintendo Switch and membership / Nintendo e-shop. And how do you get My Nintendo points?

ba

Do you mean switch online?

ka

Yes, exactly the membership that costs 20 euro a year with which you stop, e.g. Can gamble online.

ba

So the membership is for online games but you don't need it for every game e.g. Rocket League is without you can buy it with a Nintendo gift card

ba

As far as I know you don't get games for free.

You pay for membership as normal. Either through a card in the supermarket or PayPal or something.

You can simply top up your credit in the eshop or when you buy a game.

ka

And how does that work with the credit?

ka

But when you play for free you can download others for free.

ka

And what is your opinion on membership. So what if you don't really gamble online?

ba

Buy then you will get the card with a code on the back, then go to the Nintendo eShop and redeem the code at the bottom

ba

Since when. Have Switch online and Switch online is only there to play Nintendo games online

ka

OK with credit you can then simply buy things without problems? And do you have to show something when you buy a voucher in the supermarket?

ba

Not necessary. As far as I know, you have no other advantages

ka

No go to free games. Then there are also games that can only be installed with it.

ba

Then these are online games

ba

Shouldn't be a problem, it says on the back of the card that you have to be over 18 to be allowed to buy the card, but it is also possible with 14 or 15 years

ka

No! I think they are these nes games or whatever.

ka

And with 12😅

ba

Yeah, you old games. You get that too. That's it then.

ba

I don't know at Xbox it is 13 I think it should also be 13 at Nintendo but I'm not sure

ka

Will they stay forever?

ba

And, according to Nintendo, you can only have an account when you are 16 (so your parents have to do it)

https://www.nintendo.de/...77630.html

ka

Yes, my parents allowed me to create it.

ba

Ok would you like to know something else?

ba

No. But that's just an app that contains a lot of old games. You can always use this app when you have Switch online. This app always stays, so you never have to download it again once you have it. But you need the "membership" to use it

ka

Yes what?

ka

OK

ba

So to the point system there are platinum and gold points, the platinum points are e.g. For background images on the PC, mobile phone,. You only get the gold points when you buy a game in the eshop, there are discounts of 40 points = 0.40 euro which can then be redeemed for the next purchase (and the games are usually cheaper in the shop than Amazon, …

ka

How do you get platinum points?

ba

By doing tasks like visiting the shop every week, linking an account, …

ka

Where to announce And where do you see the tasks?

ba

Here you can see the points https://my.nintendo.com/missions

Za

So it's worth it because you get / can play more games

To the payment methods

Credit from an Eshop card

Extra online membership card

And otherwise you can pay with PayPal and credit card there you can top up the amount or other amounts like just 10 euro etc.

ka

OK are the games good that you get with the two apps? And then there's always a game from time to time that you can then play for a while? As currently tetres that you can't play too often, right?

Za

You can only play that for a few days, the rest are a collection of NES and SNES classics, Tetris Battle Royale and I think something else. But I reconsidered my opinion and I might say better to get a good game for the 30 euro. Memberships always come later
