I'm currently looking for a way to manipulate Harvest Moon DS on my Nintendo new 2DS XL with an action replay.
I accidentally deleted my game status and now I want to quickly go back to my old status.
Which Action Replay module do I have to get so that it works with old DS games and a new console (new 2DS xl)?
Are there other ways to manipulate old DS games besides the Action Replay Module?

The original version of the game doesn't work, only illegally through homebrew or those chips that contain entire game collections.
I have the original game Harvest Moon DS. I would like to manipulate this. Is there a way to do this via a PC with CheatEngine or do I have to buy an adapter or "crack" the device?
The hackers have already done this with the right adapter. Only the cheats have to be downloaded. I don't know how that works without a homebrew on the DS.
