I often commute between two households (normally, of course not at the moment) and the original docking station with the switch's large power supply is just too bulky for me. So far I've charged my Switch with a compact dock and my Samsung Galaxy S8 charging cable, which has worked well so far. But since I haven't been doing this for long and there are a lot of reports about the wrong loading method, I wanted to ask whether this is ok or whether I should rather forego it.
