Nintendo Switch without accessories? Help for beginners?

Hi, I got a switch console from a friend. Unfortunately without accessories such as charging cable, power supply and station. Speak only the screen, so the console, as well as the two Joy-Cons.

The station, the Joy-Con holder as well as the wrist loops and the cables are missing.

I have now obtained a USB-C charging cable including an adapter. The device ran completely empty and is currently charging. When charging, I can currently see the charging bar and the charging symbol in the top left. So I don't necessarily need the station to charge, do I? It works.

How long does it take to charge before I can play or test all of the functions and buttons? Currently, as I said, black screen, loading bar at the top left.

Next question:

Are the two cons loaded when the console is being charged or do I absolutely need such a station or the holder? What is the HDMI cable included with the original packaging? Is that to connect the console to the TV and then use the Con bracket?

And last but not least: Which cheap games can you recommend? Perhaps up to a maximum of 20 euro to get warm with the switch. And where do you recommend buying the games?

As you can tell, I'm a complete noob when it comes to Switch. Forbearance please xD

If you have a switch, you should play the exclusive titles. But they usually cost 50 euro…

Hu

Got it for under 40 ^^

Second hand. Right. But I mentioned the original price!

Can you also help me with other questions?

So I don't necessarily need the station to charge, do I? It works.

Correct. The dock is mainly used to play games on the monitor / television. Nevertheless, the console loads simultaneously in this. But you can also load without it.

Are the two cons loaded when the console is being charged or do I absolutely need such a station or the holder? What is the HDMI cable included with the original packaging? Is that to connect the console to the TV and then use the Con bracket?

Yes, if you have the Joy-Con on the console, they will also be loaded. The HDMI cable is there so that you can connect the dock to the TV. You don't even need the Joy-Con holder, you can also play "hands-free", i.e. A Joy-Con in each hand.

Great, thank you very much! That means I don't necessarily need the station or these brackets, but that calms me down.

I currently have the following problem: I have connected the console to the power and it shows me continuously that the device is charging. Unfortunately nothing has happened for over an hour and the device can't be switched on. When I restart, the Nintendo logo pops up and I land directly back on this black screen with the loading bar. However, the charger recognizes the console.

I've already tried holding the on / off button for 12 seconds, I can't get into the menu.

Depending on how long the console was without power, the battery may be deeply discharged. I would just try again in a few hours, otherwise the battery or the charging port may have something.

pr

Ok, all right, I now assumed that the console would turn on again after 15 minutes, like a cell phone or tablet.

Then I'll just wait and see, thank you!
