Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Online?

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity is coming to Nintendo Switch soon. And I have a question if it is known if this game has an online feature as I would like to play it with a friend who lives further away.

I haven't heard or read anything about whether it exists or not. Perhaps you will resubmit the "Ask Again" question when the game is out the first people already own it.
