Does my Nintendo Switch Joy Con really need to be replaced?

So I dropped my switch 1x, since then the joy stick on the left Joy Con does not work downwards, in such a way that the switch simply no longer senses the movement of the downward pressed Joy Cons or only extremely little.

Calibration etc. Did not help, I know that the Joy Stick can be exchanged, but I'm not sure whether that will fix the problem or somewhere else in the console that broke. If someone had a similar problem or repaired it yourself, how did it go with you?

The question is how long you have the switch or the joycon. If it is still possible, I would definitely complain. Since joycon didn't buy anything extra, I got the full 315 euro back.

In general, if the switch has dropped, I would contact a support who can see through it. Many look through them for free and you can still decide afterwards whether they should fix it or whether you want to or can do it yourself
