I will soon write a thesis on the subject of kinetosis. Also known as travel or motion sickness. In my practical part, I would like to try using Virtual Reality the gewöhneffekt to mitigate the symptoms of motion sickness or even completely combat it. So I'm looking for ways to simulate a car drive as accurately as possible. Since this works best with a VR glasses, my question is, if there are possibilities / someone who knows.
It would be best if someone knows if you can connect a VR glasses with the normal Wii console. So not Wii U. Or does anyone know another way? I have a Playstation 3 next to the Wii (I do not buy the 4 extra, which is far too expensive for me). It should not be too expensive, as I do not deserve much. The option of borrowing has already gone through my head, but also here for a test run of 6 months very expensive if you have any more of it after this time.
The wii and also the ps3 are not capable of it.
from the ps4 it would be possible with a psvr, but there are no good simulators for it.
At the pc it looks different again.
used hmd's would be the best choice. New models cost (mixed reality) 200 euro upwards and vr hmd's from 400 euro new.
Do you know if this is synonymous s.einen laptop and how is that exactly?
If the laptop has enough power yes.
What you mean by "how that is exactly", I can't quite understand.
How exactly did I want to write. So how to connect it and if you need certain apps or software and which glasses would be best (as cheap as possible)
Depending on hmd then with steamvr or the oculus software.
connect, set up (room) and off you go.
really cheap it is my opinion with a used rift or vive. Cheaper went also mixed reality hmd's but under some circumstances hmd's then no compatibility with steamvr possible because the applications must always be adapted to the panels and controllers to have the best experience.
