Would you sell or keep the Nintendo Wii including games and accessories?

I'm currently struggling with myself… On the one hand, I want to sell the Wii and accessories a good 2-3 weeks ago to make room.

Especially since I currently gamble a lot with the Nintendo Switch and even since I already have more games on the Wii…

On the other hand, I took out the games to take pictures of them and yes I would be sorry for some of them and now I'm really divided.

It's all about this…

Console & accessories:

Console, all original cables
Adapter Wii to HDMI (~ 10 Eur)
Balance Board by Snakebyte (black) (Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimate & Marbels Balance Challenge)

2x USB Micro (Disney Sing It Filmhits & High School Musical)

2x controller including strap and silicone protection
2x nunchuck
2x Controller Plus expansion including silicone protection (Sports Resort)

2x steering wheel (Mario Kart)

Games:

Big Brain Academy for Wii
Disney High School Musical Sing It
Disney Mickey Epic
Disney Rapunzel New Spoiled
Disney Sing It Hit Movie
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum
Marbels Balance Challenge
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Party 8
MySims
MySims Kingom
New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis
One Piece Unlimited Cruise 1 +2 (double pack)
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii Play
Wii Sports (in original cardboard sleeve)
Wii Sports Resort

It is probably also the main games that would bring money at all, where I'm a bit ambivalent. Or where nice memories hang on it. Technically or as a party game.

Would you sell or keep the Nintendo Wii including games and accessories

What do you all mean? Would you sell them? If so, what would you expect in return?

10 - 30 Eur at Gamestop and Co is clear to me.

Or would you keep it?

I'm having a hard time letting go… Somehow I belong to the hunters and gatherers

ro

Watch out for Fire Eblem. On no account sell it for 10 euro at Gamestop. You can get up to 150 euro for Radiant Dawn on Ebay. If you take the time, you can still get something out of Ebay for some things

Basically, I would probably "let go" of them personally if I knew that I would probably not return to the games. But basically it's a personal choice

Do

On the contrary. I would even buy games. I just love this console. I don't understand people who just sell their consoles.

ro

I don't understand people who just sell their consoles. "I can only speak of myself: At some point you will run out of space. And if you know you will never play the games again, then it doesn't make sense to keep them, just so you can say "I have xyz games";)

Lo

Definitely keep it.

At some point you want to gamble the things again. And if it's just to indulge in the old days. In terms of money, it's not worth selling and if you have to buy the old things, then you can pay a lot.

And how much space does that take up? Small moving box and you can easily store the stuff elsewhere.

Do

So I don't live in a 2 room apartment. Probably not either. And if you tidy up properly then you always have enough space.

ra

If you still have somewhere to store it, I would keep it. Once if you want to play again sometime for nostalgic reasons and of course not least in view of what the first generation consoles from the 90s are worth today… Who knows where the Wii is going, with so much accessories and games.

On

Personally, I would keep it because Wii was a time in my life.

You can use it for euphoria when you are 80 years old. Just a look back at your own childhood.

Cu

Yes… Fire Emblem is one of the reasons for my insecurity…

I still hope that the older games would be reissued or at least ported before the 3DS. Unfortunately, I don't have the consoles.

And I really find the time to play them all over again.
