This is about my almost 4 month old Nintendo Switch console, the new revision. I wanted to exchange it 3 weeks ago, according to email it was repaired because the battery was quite short, so that it should last longer with the new version. Up to 6 hours, mine only 4 hours. Now I'm afraid, or really afraid, that they may have changed the wrong battery, or that there are scratches on the console. It was in top condition, not a scratch and very well looked after. New, but the battery was damaged… I wonder if there's a chance that when I get the console back, I will get the battery from the old Nintendo Switch, or they have replaced the battery of the new version in my console because I also own the new Revesion. The new model number is HAC 001 [01], which can be seen on the back of the console, while the old model has the model number HAC 001.
I think they will already know which battery they have to put in there. It is best to wait until you get your switch back and then check.
If the battery was broken (up to 6 hours is a stretchable term and the battery life of the switch also depends on the game), they will have installed the right one
