I already have a Nintendo Switch, but would also like to have a 3DS console again so that I can play the games of my childhood.
For this I would like to have one of the two New XL models.
Now the question arises, which one to get.
The following would be important to me:
-Which one has the better battery life?
-Which is better in (small) hands?
-Which is better processed?
-Which one has the better graphics?
-Is the 3D effect good or doesn't matter?
-Which would you recommend and why?
Battery life should be better because the 3D function is missing. Even if the performance itself is lower.
With the XL systems it is generally not that easy with your hands. But you get used to it. But the two don't take anything. The 2DS is a little smaller and lighter.
Graphics are identical.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL is also cheaper.
I used the 3D effect very rarely. It was nice but nothing more. You could see every bit of dirt on the screen immediately.
That's why I think the New 2DS XL is definitely better.
