Assassin's Creed 4 Multiplayer Active Community?

I used to play AC 4 multiplayer on the Wii U in the past. There I was prestige 24. Now I'm considering whether I should get me AC4 for the PS4 because of the multiplayer, but I do not know if there's still an active community and if this then persists even longer. I have no desire to look for a lobby 30 minutes. How long does a search take approx.

Sometimes the search takes 30 minutes, sometimes 2 minutes. It always depends. Mostly it's also Amis so you can only play at night for 1-2 hours so keep your fingers off the multiplayer.
