I soon wanted to get Assassin's Creed The Rebel Collection and Assassin's Creed III Remastered for the Nintendo Switch.
Are these good games or not?
Looks like they would not be launching a new game every few years.
I myself have only played the part black flag and give it the mark 1.5.
I've only played AC Black Flag and AC 3 Remastered so far.
Black Flag is a fantastic game in my opinion and I would rank the Rebel Collection alone for Boyfriend as one of my top 5 switch games (they will play for Christmas only). Good story, pretty environments, fun, but in the long run a bit monotonous gameplay, but varied side activities, great soundtrack, good performance on the switch. The naval battles were extremely entertaining. I can't judge the DLC and AC Rogue, because I have not played them yet.
AC3 is a bit mixed. The story is basically good, but the character of the protagonist is sometimes a bit frustrating. Colonial America does not look as beautiful as the sunny Caribbean beaches, and due to the architecture of the cities, it is often less fun to scurry across the rooftops. The gameplay is pretty good. The main missions are more varied than in Black Flag and there are many interesting side missions with their own little stories. The off-site activities outside of missions are not really interesting, but there are so many side missions that you have the whole game over. Soundtrack is good. The game has a lot of bugs and is not running too well overall. The DLC is quite entertaining, but the protagonist goes even further into the bag than in the main game. AC Liberation is similar to AC3, only significantly worse in just about every area.
Overall, I found both Boyfriend and AC3R very entertaining.
