I kept an eye on the Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. Is the thing with the Joy Con Drift still a big problem with the current models or has Nintendo since done something meanwhile? That would be even more important with the Switch Lite, because then you have to have the whole device repaired.
And what is the support of Nintendo on the subject? Is there any help or are there only empty phrases?
Nintendo has not changed anything on the Analog Sticks. For some it comes to Joycon Drift days, some for a year or two and some never. Personally, after a year, I had problems with my Joycons, which motivated me to buy a Pro Controller. He has no quirks so far.
I have never used the Nintendo repair service, so I can't report first hand in this area, but I have mostly heard positive about it.
So our switch works perfectly. We've had it a bit longer, too since a day. That's why I would recommend you the light.
