Selling Nintendo 2DS with installed games?

I want to sell my Nintendo 2DS. When I bought it 3 years ago, I received a code to download Super Mario Bros. The game is now on the Nintendo. Now I want to sell my console and play with it. I do not need the game anymore. But now I'm afraid that there are still some data left from me. I searched everything in the settings of the Nintendo e-shop but found nothing. Can this be? So credit card and so I have never stated anyway. But maybe a mail address?

As I said, I have not found any data from me, but I want to be sure that the buyer does not somehow get any more data from me. Where do I see if an email address has been deposited?

You can make a factory reset in the settings

Dr

In the settings you can reset the device to factory settings.

Then all data will be deleted.

However, games downloaded in the eshop are tied to the console. Means: The buyer can then download the game from the eshop, without getting your data or the like.

Ok, then I delete everything on my DS. That would be completely in my sense.

Goes back only with, but since the game is on your acc you can't sell it with because the buyer then needs your mail address and password to the game again to download and update to load

therefore, you can only sell the console but not the games purchased digitally from the store because you certainly do not want to give your account (email and password) to the buyer

the games are always acc-tied, if you would sign up for a new console, you could also use your acquired games there

Interesting… Germanplayer2 has previously written that the games are tied to the console…

And I have done it myself, after reset everything was gone, only when I signed off with Nintendo ID (email and password) I could re-download the games,

I had accidentally logged in with a different ID because I have two, so I could not load the course because they were not in there, it must of course be the one with which were bought, but I knew immediately,

are bound to the console are only those who were pre-installed with the purchase of the console, but even bought are acc-bound, but of course, should be clear, the console is broken or one sells and would like to have a new one, of course, its purchased content it makes no sense to buy everything new
