Is it worth buying my brother's Nintendo Switch?

My brother wants to sell me his Switch + 3 games (Zelda botw, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Fifa 18). For about 400 euro. The Joy Cons are broken, but he has even better ones. The display has a few small scratches. But I don't know how long the switch will last. Is it worth buying my brother's Nintendo Switch or should I buy a new one for around 500 euro?

If you don't mind the scratches and the Joy cons are good, I think it's ok with 2 games (I don't count Fifa18, it's totally out of date)

How old is the console?

It seems very expensive to me, precisely because it comes from the family. Fifa 18 for the switch is really dirty, you shouldn't count that.

If I were your brother, I would just give them to you. And 400 euro are far too much for a used console… Ask him if he sells it cheaper for you otherwise buy a new one with a game… Everything works and you have no scratches

At Media Markt you get a new switch for 330

But I get 3 games from my brother

She is about 3 years old.

So then I really recommend you to buy a new console. It's really outrageous of your brother to sell you a used console for the new price.

Or you trade it down, whereby I myself would still find 300 euro crisp.
