Temporary pixel errors on Nintendo Switch

Hi there,

After taking my switch out of the dock for days, I noticed isolated white dots (pixel errors) everywhere.

They disappeared on their own after a while of use.

The device is around 4-5 months old. Could this be a one-time mistake?

Sn

Are you sure these are dead pixels and not just dust?

Er

I'm sure I cleaned the screen right away

Sn

Is the picture on the docking station back as it should?

Er

The picture on the TV is normal

Sn

It may be that the error occurs depending on the model or software version, but I'm not sure. If a system update were to be made or if a new patch were to be awaited, the software should be up to date. If the problem does not go away, you can take your console to the dealer for a warranty. They can either give you a new console or send it to you for repair. However, I guess there's an error in the display, as the picture on the television is normal.

Er

Thanks, the latest software is currently installed (including the latest revision).

The surprising thing was that the dots disappeared after a while of use.

Sn

I can't explain to you either. It could be a sporadic error. Therefore, ask the store where you bought the Switch.
