Grim Reaper at Nintendo (Sims)?

I have a friend who plays on Nintendo Sims 3 (less recently). I have the question of whether someone can die on the Nintendo Sims 3, whether the Grim Reaper appears, and whether the Sim can die if the mood is too low. Please reply if you know!
