Nintendo Switch scratch repair?

So
- in Nintendo
5

Unfortunately, I have a lot of micro-scratches on my Nintendo Switch, which you can especially see in the light. That bothers me. That's why I want to have this repaired. The reason for this is that I want to get new Joy-Cons and a protective glass. Now, as I said, there are already scratches, which would be a shame and not really worth it (?)

I have a couple of questions about this:

Firstly: if there are scratches, the display works perfectly, which display does it concern? So what should you fix to make the scratches go away? So: only the touchscreen or the whole, entire display, which of course would cost more?
Is that a good idea i have? How would you deal with it in my position?
How much money does a display repair cost?!

These scratches are really annoying and annoying.
Console etc. Works perfectly, as I said, the scratches are the problem.

Regarding 1 .: If it is only about scratches, it only affects the protective glass in front of the actual display. The exchange of it should be a little cheaper.

Regarding 2 .: So I put a real protective film on it right at the beginning so that something like this wouldn't even happen. But I also have to say that my iPhone has a few micro-scratches and even minimal abrasions on the display, but that doesn't bother me. In general, I see these things as "consumables" that you use every day - that's normal. And you can't see the scratches in TV mode.

Re 3 .: I found that on the net: https://www.unitechnix.de/nintendo-switch-reparatur

I would prefer to ask Mediamarkt, Saturn, Euronics for repairs first (when they are open again or directly by email).

Scratches can be annoying. However, I'm not sure whether it is really worth taking the device for repair.

What is certain is that they have to pay the costs themselves. Since it would not count as a guarantee case even during the guarantee.

Whether Saturn and co will even offer a service for this is questionable. When I had a Joy Con problem, I was referred to Nintendo Support. This is quite good after about 1 week I had my Joycons back in the Farantiefall. (1x drift, 1x mounting problem… Has always come off the display)

Outside the guarantee, you will be sent a cost estimate that you have to agree to. However, I can't say whether you will see prices beforehand… I don't think so.

Honestly, if they don't bother me, I wouldn't give the console for repair…

As a preventive measure, I have been using bulletproof glass on my console since day 2. I feel safer with it and therefore not a single scratch on the display.

So

Do you think if I get a protective film now that the scratches are simply no longer visible because of the new protection? So just are not visible? I'm thinking of getting one right now. Is it worth it? So, because there are already scratches - please answer.

You may then notice them less. I've never had scratches on it before. Possibly. A picture could then be rated better.

Cu

Edit… I don't think it will do much now…

Before I would have it repaired, I would ask about the price for it and then it depends on what you are willing to pay or whether a new console is not even cheaper. Well, it shouldn't be that expensive, I don't know the prices
