I'm 17 years old (female) and would like to buy Animal Crossing New Leaf for the 3DS which is now 7 years old. I always wanted that, so my question is whether it's worth it at all? I would rather have Animal Crossing New Horizons, but I don't see myself buying a Nintendo Swich for 400 euro just because of the game, what should I do?

It is definitely worth it. Back then I also played all Animal Crossing titles.
The somewhat older titles are also fun. And it won't be expensive either.

Well, New Leaf is a bit better than Wild World and City Folk (or was it in Germany Let's go to the City? I don't remember), but by no means a big step forward like New Horizons. It would be worth it, but I think New Horizons is the better game of both, and at a fair distance.
Animal Crossing New Leaf is still worth it and I only played it again today and have to say honestly that I really can't understand all the hype about ANCL New Horizons. Animal Crossing New Leaf is just a lot hotter!
New leaf simply has the quality of a toaster😂
Is actually full… There are a lot of cheats at new leaf thanks to the quality. And apart from the quality, the game is really fun
