Online problems at Smash bros why is that?

I bought a Nintendo Switch with the Smash Bros game a while ago. I knew that the switch was not well known for its good online connection, so I plugged a LAN adapter with a LAN cable into the switch. However, I still can't play online in Smash Bros. I tried other online games that are not from Nintendo (it always worked) and also released my Wi-Fi ports and did everything that is in the Nintendo advisory service and on other pages. It always said, however, that my console can't connect to other consoles or something like that.

Hope you can help me because it can't be 100% due to the LAN cable / Wi-Fi because I have very good internet on the Ps4.

If all that doesn't work out, the servers want to go down.

Ri

But you've already bought the online mode, haven't you?

Ev

I can't imagine, since it's been 3 months and, for example, on the lower floor I even come to a match every now and then.

Ev

Yes, the 12 month membership

Ri

Then unfortunately I don't know either, I'm sorry.

The only thing I can even remotely imagine is that you had so much bad luck with your opponents and that they had too bad an internet connection. Because Switch Online mode still uses peer to peer and no servers. But you must be very unlucky.

Mhh ok. It also means that the switch should be as close as possible to the router when it is connected to the Wi-Fi because it has little reception even with a small wall and in the living room I can play 2 games out of 10 matches and in the room next to it is also the router but in my room further up the console is then plugged into the LAN cable and it shouldn't matter how far the router is, right?

Ev

What I wanted to say: That the charging cable doesn't work, but when next to the router it works at least a bit better (maybe I was just lucky with the matches)

Ri

If you have a LAN cable it shouldn't make a difference how far away the router is. If it still doesn't work, try it without the LAN cable. Is it possible that the cable is broken?
