Where could you get these Mario figures?

I have 4 Nintendo Mario characters.

Luigi is 9 cm high, Mario 8 cm, Mario about 6.5 cm, Yoshi about 6 cm

Does anyone know where these were? What are they for?

I only know the characters from Mc Donalds. She even had it herself

Mario and Yoshi were in the Milka advent calendar last year or so, or you got them when you bought three Milka products.

I don't know where Luigi and Mario are from.
