Is a Nintendo Switch® or a PC worth it for me?

I've been thinking about buying a console or a gaming PC for a long time, but I'm not sure what would be more worthwhile for me and yes. Buying a Nintendo Switch® pro for it would be for me

You can currently get a Lite version for 237 euro at Mediamarkt with a game and 3 months of Nintendo Online, which means I would have a low price for the first time when I bought it and could buy it immediately
There are many titles from Nintendo® that I find interesting and would like to play and that are only currently available on the Switch

Cons:

I would probably lose the fun of van den games over time because they tend to appeal to something younger
I might still not be able to play some games that I would really like to play
I would probably still have the wish for a gaming PC

Now once again pro for a gaming PC

I couldn't play all but many of the titles I want to play

2. I would probably have had something of it for a longer time, since there are games for all ages

Contra

1. It would be a higher expenditure of money, ie I would first have to save some time to buy a good one or missing equipment

So please vote once or, ideally, write an answer stating why, which would be better.

I have a Nintendo Switch myself and it's definitely a lot of fun with it, even if you're older than the "average gamer". There are definitely a lot of great games that I like (I don't know if you like them, of course) and there are more to come.

Indeed, a meaningful question. Where even PC gamers would have to think about it.

Otherwise only "playstation or PC?"

Guess whatever the answer is.

If you want to go for performance, that of course the PC, but if you want Nintendo titles, then the switch.

Just for pokemon, a switch wouldn't be worthwhile for me.

Almost everything is represented in games on the PC.

I mean, PC games, all xbox games and sometimes even playstation games

Better buy a switch first (preferably not a Lite…) OR wait until the end of March - beginning of May. Because some analysts (and me as a "programmer" included) appreciate a Switch Pro (it could look more like a gaming PC without losing the exclusives the price is falling, but either way I advise you to go for the normal Switch and not the Lite.

Ro

Gaming pc in a portable console?

De

No. I mean that the good third-party then maybe for it (as long as there's a possibility of "ONLY" or a simple development for the Switch-Pro…)

Le

I would probably lose the fun of van den games over time because they tend to appeal to something younger

Apart from the fact that that's not necessarily true (aka Mortal Kombat, Witcher 3 and Saints Row), the games are in many age groups.

A PC generally has a few more advantages, but there's the question of the budget. I wouldn't spend less than 800 euro on a PC.

el

So for the current hardware situation you should definitely not buy a pc, as everything is far too expensive

Be

Well, the Switch Lite is currently cheaper and I don't need some of the functions of the normal Switch, but thanks for the answer.

De

I always say that because a friend of mine bought a Lite but then functions like "local multiplayer etc." wanted to…
