Is the Nintendo Switch Lite worth it? - 1
I hope someone of you is familiar with consoles and can help me a little further.
I'm considering buying the Nintendo Switch Lite (see picture) because I would like to play the new Animal Crossing.
What I can't quite see with the Lite, is it now a standalone console in itself?
Or is it an additional replacement controller for the Nintendo Switch console?
Because a few friends of mine have the normal switch console and it has to be connected to the TV like the Wii.
Since I don't have a TV, it's not worth it for me.
So I wanted to ask if someone is familiar with it or maybe even has the Switch Lite and can say whether it is a console in itself?

The Lite is perfect if you want to spend 100 euro less and only want to play alone or not on TV.
If you only want to play Animal Crossing now, definitely.
The Switch Lite is the casual game variant. Quasi for those who do not play too often and therefore do without features such as streaming on TV. In itself, however, it can do exactly the same thing.

The switch lite is a dedicated console that is just like the switch itself, but you can't play it on TV, and you can't remove the 2 joycons, so playing a second time is not possible
So in German it is the same console as switch except that you can only use it as a handheld
I think it's really worth it because it's a standalone console and if you only play on your handheld anyway, it's perfect.
The normal switch does not have to be connected to a television. Like the Switch Lite, you can use it as a standalone handheld.
The Lite is a bit smaller, has no removable Joy-Cons, can't be connected to the TV and is missing a few more small functions that are not so important (for example, HD Rumble).
If you don't mind the disadvantages, get a Switch Lite. After all, it's a good deal cheaper than the normal switch.
