How do I get 400 Pokemon in Pokemon Sword / Shield?

So I hope someone knows the answer because someone always knows something here → I want to get this Shiny Charm but I need all Pokemon for this. I wonder now how can I get all Pokemon if you have only one starter or depending on the game (I now have Pokemon Sword) one of the two legendary Pokemon.

EXCHANGE with others has been the solution to the problem described here since time immemorial.

Yes, it will be difficult without the Plus membership. Because that allows the sgt. Spell exchange, you choose a Pokemon that is then exchanged with another's Pokemon, so you get very rarely Pokemon and the starters, because these are quasi remains of breedings.

Otherwise, the Pokedex always suggests what you can catch in the current weather conditions. So you can work your way piece by piece and the last question marks can then be clarified via the Internet.

It's pretty easy to complete the Pokedex in this game.

Membership is not mandatory, but it makes the whole thing incredibly easier.
Basically, however, you have to swap and you won't get around swapping with a shield to get the edition-specific Pokemon.
However, the whole thing can also be done in local mode without an internet connection and thus paid functions. The only problem:
You need friends. So, friends who have a Switch and the other edition, who also live nearby.
And that's probably the biggest problem for any Pokemon player.

You can also get a lot of Pokemon from raids. Not the edition-specific and starter pokemon, but e.g. Most exchange developments and stuff.

There are pages that show you which nest has which Pokemon.

In itself, you can get about 300 Pokemon without swapping.

So I personally got the online function because I just love playing against players from all over the world. (Fighting, swapping)

Otherwise I trade Pokemons with my girlfriend that we still need.
