I love the different colors of the Joy-Cons, which is why I currently have a total of three pairs. The blue / red ones that were already included with the switch, the green / pink and the purple / orange.
Soon dark blue / neon yellow and possibly red / blue will be added.

I actually only play with the Pro Controller on TV, but for handheld mode I love the different colors and combinations.
4 because my old ones drifted and I didn't know how to fix them. In the meantime I know but you can still use it. Personally, I prefer to play on the pro controller

I have 2 couples so I want
Two. My first gray pair was affected by drifting, the SL and SR triggers were defective, the L shoulder button was jammed and the rubber cap on my right stick was damaged and could therefore no longer be put on. Then I got myself a red and blue one for Christmas. I've had no problems so far. I have the impression that the Joy-Con currently available are much more robust and of higher quality than those at the time of release. I think I read somewhere.
The processing is actually true. The Joy-Cons, which have been on the market since the 2019 revision of the Switch, are significantly better processed than those from before.
For me it was the same. Just was my first couple
all red (we bought the switch with mario odyssey)
just infested with drift
and I didn't get my 2nd pair on christmas but on a normal day.
