Animal Crossing new horizons other fruits?

Hello is there any way to get fruit other than visiting other friends? In the past you were lucky that you got some from the residents. I don't have a Nintendo online but I still want to have all kinds of fruit.

At the beginning I had received another fruit from my "mother" in the mail.

Otherwise you can visit miles islands. There you will find coconuts and, with luck, other city fruits.

You can also visit friends in local mode, i.e. Without Nintendo Switch Online, but then you have to meet real.

On the miles islands you can only find a different kind of fruit than your own.
