Game still needs 99+ hours and does not continue loading what can I do (Playstation 4)?
I got Red Dead Redemption 2 and despite several attempts to have the cd copied, it just doesn't work or 3/4 of the game is loaded without problems and then my Ps4 starts to load the cd, then it stops again, then loads it again and so on until it always stops at the same point where:
Still standing for 99+ hours and the CD does not continue to load (even if I take the CD out and put it back in)
The data disc loads great but when the game loads, it loads to the middle and then stops

Can't do anything. It's just a console, you can't fix anything yourself.
Try other cd via complaint and stop software updates that may help. Buy the alternative online and download it instead of installing it from a CD, that was it.

Look at settings ===> network ===> test connection.

I had the exact same problem recently. For me it took a few hours but in the end the download went through completely and I can play without any problems. It takes a lot of patience, but just try to let the download run throughout the day.
Or, if possible, claim the disc and have it exchanged or refunded.
It appears to be the disc. You can see that version 1.00 is being installed. A patch for which the Internet is required will probably only be downloaded afterwards. Personally, I've only bought download versions from the store since the PS3 era. Good deals and never problems with the sensitive and noisy Blu-ray drive.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I CLEAND DISK COUPLE TIMES, RESTARTED THE PS4, BUT IT IS STUCKED ON 67 GB AND CANNOT CONTINUE INSTALLING THE GAME, IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTIONS TO FIX THE GAME AND INSTALL IT?
