Can t join friends on Minecraft Bedrock Ps4, what to do

I try to join my friends on the Bedrock Edition, but it only loads indefinitely. Even if you use a different resource package and I have to download it, e.g. 11 megabytes, it won't even download it. I just can't join.

Well PS4 is known to be pretty bad and that's why Minecraft is not yet working so well on it but it can also be due to your internet or the internet of your friend you want to join
