Exchange monitor is that possible?

I got a gaming monitor for my birthday today. My parents bought the gaming monitor from Saturn in July. Today I unpacked the gaming monitor and wanted to connect it to my PlayStation but then it slipped out of my hand and fell on the floor with the display. Now the monitor has a crack at the top and next to the crack there are colorful flickering stripes everywhere. I would like to exchange this now is that possible? Since I've heard that you are only allowed to accept things that were already damaged when they were sold. I don't know how I can prove that I only unpacked the monitor today. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation? LG Anna

lo

If you drop the monitor, Saturn or the manufacturer can't help it. Before that he was obviously okay.

I even think that you only have the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

In your case it is your own fault anyway, so I estimate your chances to be relatively slim.

Without damage, one could have hoped for goodwill from Saturn.

Information without guarantee.

Yes, of course it works… It's no problem at all.

Hit it again properly with the hammer so that the seller can see that it is broken 🤦🏼♂️

I think in the best case you can only make it if you have bought a kind of insurance on top of it

You don't have to make fun of it either

What you can do Throw it away and buy a new one, or wait until next year's birthday.

That you break something, no dealer or manufacturer can do anything for that and neither a right of withdrawal nor a guarantee applies. Something like that usually cover Only fully comprehensive insurance, as you would with expensive new cars.

And even if it were intact and it was bought online, you would be far beyond the 14 days right of withdrawal. When YOU got the device is unimportant, what counts is when the dealer gave it in.

Some dealers also give these 14 days when buying in the store, but they don't have to and it's simply service or goodwill. So no, you can't do anything. It's a shame about the monitor, but no one else pays for your mistakes, but you.

Where am I making fun of?

Was that advice?
