Which has more power, PS4 or PC?
Hello, I ask for a friend who wants to believe me that a PC usually (!) Has the better performance.
Let's assume that the PC has an i7-7700k and a 1070ti with 16GB-2133MHz RAM installed.
And what if you compared that with a bad PC, I'll take our school PCs as an example: i3-3220, 4 GB of slow DDR3 RAM and no dedicated graphics card.
PS4 has more power than a school PC.
A gaming PC for at least 500-600 euro has more on it than a PS4.
There's no way to answer that easily. It always depends on what hardware is built into the PC. It is definitely the case that the PS4 is more suitable for gaming than such an office PC.
But it is also very clear that if you have a high-end PC with the fastest graphics card and CPU, then such a PC will even outshine the next generation consoles.
A ps4 is better than the school pc's, but worse than the pc with the i7 and the gtx 1070.
So the GPU of the ps4 can probably be compared with a gtx 750ti / 770
In terms of pure computing power, a 300 euro PC should be better
The computing power of a PC is quickly times greater than that of a console.
However, you can't expect the same performance from a PC with the same computing power as from the console, because the code on the consoles is simply optimized specifically for this hardware and some developers use quite special tricks to get the most out of the hardware.
Nevertheless, PCs in the upper price segment usually have a better gaming performance than the current consoles even at the time of release.
Since the PS4 is already quite old, a lot has happened since its release and current hardware from the same price segment is naturally much faster than the old one in the PS4.
