Hello dear community, I have had the Dlan 200AVplus product for several months, but I have now noticed that 12 Mbits are sent to my PS4 and 39 Mbits to my PC.
Do you maybe know why that could be?
Oh, if your picture and your statement represent something different - here is the explanation.
Your AVPlus 200 has a theoretical transmission of ~ 200Mbit from socket to socket, which corresponds to a rate of approximately 25Mb / s.
Now you have set the "transmitter" close to your DSL router. Most do.
From there you go over the electricity line of the apartment where you want to have internet again.
The electricity in your apartment does not go through the power socket directly to the next one where your DLAN adapter is located, but goes from there
ROOM 1 to the fuse box and from there to ROOM X.
This already reduces the theoretical rate of 25Mb / s
In addition, is the neighboring power socket free where the DLAN adapter is located? Or are there other devices in the vicinity? Devolo himself says it's best to plug devices into the DLAN adapter and leave the connectors next to them empty.
That too can affect performance.
Is the washing machine running? Is dust still being vacuumed? This also changes the performance of the device the further it is set up by the "transmitter".
And if you may be more confused
Do not click on "Sender" in the overview of your interconnection, but click on "Receiver1". Then you will see that the displayed numbers change again here.
