Who knows the Gran Tourismo driving simulation and can tell me whether it is worth switching to PS4 pro?

I have PS3 and GT5 myself, which I think is really great as a realistic driving simulation.

However, the GT5 version no longer has online functions, and the GT6 version probably no longer either. The GT7 (is actually called GT-Sport) is only available for PS4, which I don't have…

Does anyone know GT5 on PS3 and GT-Sport on PS4 and can tell me whether this change is worthwhile?

I used to have a PS3 on which I played GT5 regularly (but only offline). I bought GT Sport a year ago and I'm happy with it. It's good fun, driving experience etc. It is certainly not a deterioration.

Graphics of course (logical), and sound design is much better.

However, you have to say that there are far fewer cars at GT Sport (only around 150?), That's a shame. For this, there are always updates with new cars and routes. A few more features are still missing, compared to its predecessors, dynamic weather for example.

The online mode is pretty good for that, because most of the time you drive with group 3 anyway, so it doesn't matter that all the different street cars. Even if the meme lives in the community, that you are often provided with timelines for little things.

So I'm not sure whether the switch to the PS4 (Pro) is only worthwhile because of GT Sport.

Perhaps also consider that the PS5 may soon be on the market, so I would rather wait a bit and then buy it straight away.

Maybe as an interim solution ne used 4er (not pro) with 500gb and then a 5er when it is outside. GT Sport will probably bring out a lot of updates and be supported, so I think it will also come out for the PS5.
