I happened upon a website where they have enough Playstation 5 consoles. But I'm not aware of whether this price is fair for a digital version?
As a Christmas present I want to give my nephew a Playstation 5. He is 15 years old.
Thank you in advance 🙂

So in Germany the digital edition will cost 400 euro. And those with a drive of 500 euro so for the skills that the part has is fair
This is a Swiss currency. 🙂
The average price, maybe a little higher.
It's 50 francs difference with us. 🙂
It's a completely new console and I think it will perform well, so yes, I would say the price is justified
My budget (now) is 2,661 francs. So it may be that I might order one too, but let's see.
Best choices. Miss there: For the running costs afterwards.
The price (449 CHF = 415 euro) is pretty close to the euro price of 399 euro. I think that's fair.
Sure, you could also get closer to the euro price, or the dollar price. But that's how pricing works.
As for the console itself, you can assume that Sony will pay for the version without a drive. The price reduction compared to the version with drive is 100 euro for a drive which costs 15 euro. Sony desperately wants the console to be widely used.
As for "fair", the console is certainly more than well priced for the consumer. You get a lot for your money. The console offers a lot of performance and comparable performance in the PC area is much more expensive.
However, you also have to see that over time you will continue to pay for the console through the games. The console games aren't exactly cheap.
All in all, I think that a console is unbeatable at the price, especially if you really just want to gamble.
And let's be honest, Playstation is just a successful line of products, you really can't go wrong. And what other product can you really say that about?
I agree with you
Greeting!
Many Thanks! 😀 will pre-order it for November 19, 2020
In Switzerland you can safely take the digital version without a drive. Here in Germany we often have such bad internet that you really have to think twice.
greeting
So:
The digital version of the Playstation 5 will be for my nephew. I'm not that kind of gaming person 😅 but let's see
I know, but I'm assuming your nephew has a good internet connection too. It won't be in Germany, will it?
He lives in Bern and reports that they have good internet there ^ - ^
: D I think so
Gladly ^^ Didn't know that the question is about francs XD hope that doesn't make too big a difference to euro.
