First I live in Denmark and have an Internet provider there. I play on Playstation 4 and could not talk to my friends about the party for a long time because I had Nat Type 3 so strict. So I recently called my provider and ask him from he can change my Nat Type. He did that and it also seemed to work. Then, however, I noticed more and more laggspikes. Especially in Fortnite where you have such a small ping radar I could clearly see that I had delays. Sometimes only sometimes and sometimes every few seconds. I still can't talk to friends and in some games I do not play. I call back today but just wanted to ask if who knows what it can be and what I should say during the phone call because sometimes they do not catch what I want.
For the right NAT type, you basically need a public IP address, as providers like to cheat with DS-Lite to save addresses.
So tell them to give you a public IP address so the NAT type changes.
(Depending on the provider but then incur additional costs.)

It's normal! If you are the host then everyone with nat type 3 sucks you.
