Dead by daylight update?

Everywhere, e.g. On YouTube, it is said that the new DBD update is already out. I play DBD on the Ps4 and it hasn't updated on me and it doesn't show up either. Does anyone know why?

The beta phase always runs for 2-3 weeks before the update, then it comes out for everyone, unless something needs to be improved.

Where exactly is this being said? The update won't come out until next Tuesday.
Perhaps you confused this with the preliminary version, the PTB. The PTB is a test version that can be tested by Steam players in order to get additional feedback etc.
