Xbox or Xbox 360 games on Xbox one?

but only have an Xbox one. Can I play the old red dead games (red dead Revolver, red dead redemption, red dead redemption undead nightmare) on the Xbox one? So as far as I know it's red dead revolver for the Xbox and read dead redemption and red dead redemption undead nightmare for the Xbox 360.

Red Dead Redemption is backwards compatible with add-ons, but I don't know.

Backward compatible in this case means that you can also play games from the previous console on one console.

And an add-on is just an extension to an existing game. In the case of Red Dead Revolver, this was Undead Nightmare which was later released after the actual game.

Since you bought the game for the Xbox, you can only play it on it.

I have now checked again. Unfortunately, Undead Nightmare is also not backwards compatible. So you would need an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 to play it.
