I have a problem For about 3 weeks now, in the afternoons when my parents watch TV on a Fire Tv Stick, I have had very strong lag while playing on my PlayStation. We have a FRITZ! Box 7560 and a 50k line according to PlayStation come to 30-40k, which should be enough. However, once this Fire tv Stick is on, I can't play properly. We had a FRITZ! Box 7590 bought for a test and it still didn't work! I think something can definitely be regulated in the FRITZ! Box, maybe someone knows. I have already connected the PlayStation with a LAN cable and prioritized it in the settings.
A 50Mbit / s line is now not the mass.
If your parents watch any UHD content on Fire TV, 25mbit / s (half of the bandwidth) can go by that alone.
If you also listen to Spotify and Co., it will bring your bandwidth to its knees.
Strange, I don't have a ps4, but various FireTV sticks, AppleTV and Smart TV's and it often happens that my daughter Disney + streams, my wife watches Netflix in the WZ, my son surfs the Internet and I make calls and upload and download data… And we also have a 50 Mbit line
However, our house is completely interspersed with LAN sockets (24 sockets with 48 connections. - and that runs smoothly!
you have four lan ports on the 7590, which you can switch to 1gbit or 100 Mbit (which should be enough!)
take a look at the FRITZ! Box after whether your neighbor may have his Wi-Fi on the same channel, put your time on another, preferably unused one
otherwise… As ChristianLE said, if your parents can stream UHD with it, it CAN weaken… But I think more of an overloaded Wi-Fi channel
