(My opinion)
Every game is good in its own way.
I think Minecraft is very boring.
I've played on PS4, I've tried everything Survival, Creative, Online, with friends
It was boring.
What is it that you really enjoy about it? Can you tell me?
The possibilities.
Minecraft requires being creative and having fun playing sandbox games.
There's no story.
So if you run away uncreatively just to kill a few monsters, you will be fed up with the game after an hour.
I think Minecraft is great because I enjoy playing with friends in a world. There's a lot of variety in the game because it is never monotonous and because it is updated very often, e.g. The Nether Update
Maybe you are just not creative enough and have no ideas. ^^
I personally don't like the Bedrock edition either. I still like the Java edition best. You have a lot more "freedom" there than with the Bedrock Edition.
Try the Java edition, maybe that will change your mind!
Nice day!

Then it's not the game, it's you.
That's probably not for you.
MC has a lot of different possibilities.
First of all there's a whole bunch of minigames on servers. From various PVP games to role-playing games (also RP server) to cooperative games. In the end there's something for everyone.
The java version has more choice because of the more available servers.
Then at least on the java version you have a countless number of mods and modpacks that can motivate you to do things and open up new possibilities. Be it umpteen new types of TNT to destroy the world, or ne train track or aft rail mod, or hundreds of new furniture. Up to whole military conversions in which there are tanks and helicopters and nuclear weapons etc.
Then of course the complete creative aspect. I've already rebuilt the Titanic in MC with someone. At least a little.
Some build entire landscapes and cities and huge buildings. Or deal with pixelart etc.
And all of this in the end in one game.
Admittedly, I personally wouldn't touch MC with pliers if my kids didn't want to play that with me. I also prefer other games. Still, it's pretty good to understand why others might spend years in this game.
