So I was recently on the ps4 and lost a short time flown out of the party. Can I trace this back somehow and is this punishable?
It was someone who was apparently angry and then dosed or threw me.
Yes, that is punishable.
If someone can trace that back then that's your provider. If you are a victim of a DDoS attack, you should report this anyway to your provider.
Regarding criminal liability, we're of course talking about computer sabotage and yes, that's punishable. You can contact your provider for this - if that happens more often, I strongly recommend that you report to the police.
Tracing is usually difficult, because so-called botnets are used abroad, so a large server park, which is only for; however, many also use traditional rented vServer and here have deposited their data with the provider.
Modern routers record a DDOS attack on IPs (see logs), otherwise your provider will gladly give you information / will be happy to assist you,
Here you can already determine the approximate location of an IP, and which provider is used - which one can indeed write this regard, which take the server off., A more accurate determination of the site is only for authorities by a request for information from the provider or a traceability possible:

Greeting, :)
You have to make garnix yourself, except to tell the provider.
The haun then again an update on their servers. Tracing back is usually not worthwhile because the perpetrators are sitting abroad and that would only cost money.
No, it was someone from my party who gave me a quick bite but after 30 seconds I was online again.
If you have not incurred any damage, the mitner display will be impossible anyway. If that was your question. This is more interesting if an entrepreneur can't reach customers for 30 minutes.
As far as I know, DDOS attacks work through botnets whose "senders" usually do not know about it and are only abused. The culprit is then behind 10 VPNs or proxy servers, which is quite unsuccessful. Can you ask your provider if they can do something?
It is certainly punishable, but the investigators will not make a huge effort because of an impaired management.
What update on their servers? What does this have to do with the provider's software?
