Transferring Subnautica save to PS5 version?

Today Subnautica: Below Zero and the Subnautica Upgrade for the PS5 came out.

I got the PS4 version from Subnautica back then, but I can't find instructions on how I can transfer my current save status to the PS5 anywhere on the Internet. I can't find an option for this anywhere in the game, either.

Do you know how to upload your save? Or is it not possible at all?

You can transfer saved data via USB stick / hard drive or via Wi-Fi. If you have PS Plus, you could also simply download the saved files from the cloud.

Or do you mean how do you access the PS4 saves with the PS5 version? Because that won't work.

They have a different format. Old saves are not compatible with the new version. If you want to use this, you have to install the PS4 version on the PS5.
