Ps4 accounts sharing difficulties?

I share my account with two ps4 which are in the same house and it works fine. But now I want to have my account on another ps4 that is further away, does it still work? I heard you can only share accounts on 2 ps4. I also wanted to ask whether this is generally prohibited and whether you can be banned for it?
