I've renewed the thermal paste on my Ps4
(See picture 1) I waited 30 minutes and Dan turned it on, it went DIEREGT again, you heard such a strange smell, when I turned it on again, the thermal paste was not dry and it stuck a little on such a silver thing ( See picture 2) I think that's why she went DIEREGT.

The thermal paste shouldn't be dry either, it's a paste. You probably broke something else in the process. And next time a little less paste
You don't let thermal paste dry…
Just put thermal paste on it and then put the cooler on it.
And before that, completely removing the old one is extremely important.
Yes, I completely removed the old one, but why did it go DIEREGT?
If I've done everything right Dan I don't understand why it's not your business.
The thermal paste is not conductive I hope?
Maybe you broke something, short-circuited or disconnected.
Did you reassemble everything correctly and carefully?
Oh holy… This is way too much thermal paste. There should only be a thin film on it, through which you can ideally still see the surface shimmer through. Half, or rather a third, would have been enough. The paste is only used to fill microscopic bumps and cracks and not to smear bread.
Thermal paste shouldn't get dry at all. At least not that fast. That it maintains a viscous consistency is right and desirable.
Yes, thermal paste also conducts electricity due to the metal particles it contains (better thermal conductivity). The stain on the back looks comparatively harmless. What was generously distributed on the socket beyond the processor looks more like a problem area.
Grab a piece of cardboard / plastic card and scrape off the vast amount of the processor, then take a cotton swab and cleaning spirit or other high-proof alcohol and remove all the splatters and blobs. Unfortunately, practically everything was done wrong here that can be done wrong.
As the others have already written, thermal paste Can't air dry. You also smeared too much on it. Thermal paste conducts heat better than air, but significantly worse than metal on metal (i.e. Headspreader on heat sink). It only serves to level out the small unevenness on the metal surfaces so that there's no air between the surfaces. The way you pasted the processor, only the WLP runs and you will notice that quite well.
I always use the pea method. Put a drop of WLP in the middle of the heat spreader, about the size of a pea. Now the cooler is put on. By pressing down on the cooler, the WLP is distributed between the headspreader and the cooler, automatically exactly where it belongs.
Various methods are explained here.
Oh, should I scrape it off completely and put it on again or just scrape it off?
Everything down and new ones on.
How long do you have to wait until the thermal paste is dry
Not at all! Thermal paste does not need to dry.
Did you have the cooler installed when you switched on? The thermal grease doesn't look like it has ever made contact with the cooler. If you turned on your PS4 without a cooler, then in the worst case scenario it has died from heat.
I would like to send you a picture to be sure, but can't I send you a picture on wh?
You can add an additional picture to the question.
I installed everything. Don't even hope that it is broken.
That was my first time, I thought that was not enough, I took everything down and did little on it, reassembled the Ps4, but it no longer works.
But I reinstalled everything correctly. I completely removed the thermal paste and put it on again, but little, then it worked again, but now the drive is causing problems. It doesn't recognize any more thick so I screwed it on but found nothing, screwed it back on and now it doesn't make a sound anymore.
