I have 2 monitors. One is completed with vga and one with HDMI. My ps4 is connected where the pc with vga is connected. If I now e.g. Start the PC while my ps4 is on, the two monitors are also recognized by the PC. Both are then on, but I can only use one of them because the other is connected to the ps4. Can I somehow set it so that when I switch on the ps4, the PC with the VGA connection is not switched on? So that I only connect everything to another monitor with HDMI? I hope that was explained clearly. Please don't do something like "just unplug the VGA plug from the PC"
How should the PC know that you are using your ps4 or any other device in the world at the same time.
Only the monitor can know which picture you have just selected and you can switch at any time.
The use of one monitor for several PCs is by no means unusual and makes sense.
It would be bad if, as you wish, this was not so easy to do.
