When I google, as I have to do that, it comes out that I have to link my Playstation Network account to my Epic Games account so that I can log into the Epic Games website and activate it.
So I went to http://www.epic-games.com and signed in with the Playstation Network account. Then it said I had to create an Epic Games account in order to then link it.
Now comes the problem that I should actually have one, because I already have progress on the PS4 and I've always used the display name of my Playstation account in games. However, if I try to write my data from Sony (i.e. The PS4) in the field for re-registering, it says that they are taken.
But that's very strange as I can't log into Epic Games with my Sony email address.
So I'm assuming I need to enter a new email address to link and create a New Display Name.
However, if I do that, I'm afraid I'll lose all of my progress on the PS4.
Is there a solution for linking without losing progress?
Then log in to the epic game account and activate 2fa.
